UK FOOTBALL COACH RUNS 5 DAY TRAINING CLINIC AT NOEL !!

UK Football coach LUKE TYLER (From Brighton & Hove Albion FC) travelled with team members of Point Foundation, and ran a 5 day football skills training clinic for the Noel children.

The boys in particular were thrilled to join in his sessions and learnt much from him. Luke spent many hours teaching skills and improving confidences as well as abilities. He was assisted by UK volunteer Joe Chapman, and young Point Foundation volunteers Will and Ali Kerr , who also had fundraised money to donate new football nets and many football DVD’s for the Noel Nyundo FC.

All the boys who took part in the training received medals from Luke – much to their delight!

On the last day a match was held between Noel FC & Passez-Vous FC, from Gisenyi…with Noel FC victorious with a 3 – 2 win. Luke gave the boys a wonderful week of fun and learning, and we hope that he will be back one day soon !!
